What is Lead Generation Marketing?
The words ‘Lead Generation’ are often given a bad wrap in the sales world. We often think of pushy salesmen calling us just as we sit down for dinner. This is a form of Lead Generation, among many others, but I don’t want you to think of this when you hear Lead Generation Marketing. ‘Marketing’ is the key word here. We are generating leads by marketing your brand by using your website and ranking it through SEO. Essentially the leads generated here are all inbound, directly to your website, seeking your services.
Website creation. If a website for a business already exists we can optimise the site. If a website does not exist, we will create a site and use SEO tools to rank the site in Google. We use tools such as – Keywords, citations, content and more to appeal to the search engines in order to rank in favour of other competitors in your niche.
This step requires the site to be ranked in Google. Here we will be able to engineer the top (or near top) spot on the first page of Google. Here we will be visible to your target market and will start to receive contact from these consumers. Contact will be directed straight to your phone or email. This is called a ‘lead.’ The lead is interested directly in the services that you have to offer, they are looking to do business and want more information from you, this is where it is up to you to close your lead, just as you would when you receive a phone call from a regular potential customer.
